DESCRIPTION:Enchanted by the Water\nA learning opportunity for anyone inter
 ested in the history and genealogy of Scottish ancestors who may have live
 d and/or worked in\, on or around the water.&nbsp\; A full day of talks fo
 r only $20 Canadian ($10 for Scottish SIG OGS members).\n\nAll recordings

 \nCustoms and Excise Records presented by Alison Lindsay\, NRS\n\n \n\n&nb
 sp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAlison Lindsay has worked as an archivist in the Nation
 al Records of Scotland for 30 years\, most recently as Head of the Legal a
 nd Historical Search Rooms where every day she helps people seeking access
  to the 80km of records held there\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nTrinity House 
 presented by Nicola Wright\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nNicola Wright is a fre
 elance storyteller\, historical interpreter\, tour guide and trainer. For 
 Illuminate UK she provides workshops\, tours\, storytelling and training o
 f the Junior Tour Guides at Leith\, Linlithgow and Craigmillar. She is res
 ponsible for outreach and community engagement at Trinity House Maritime M
 useum.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nInverclyde Harbour Trust Record
 s presented by Lorraine Murray\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nLorraine Murray is the Ar
 chivist at The Watt Institution in Greenock and at The Glasgow Academy in 
 Kelvinbridge. A former postgraduate student at The University of Glasgow o
 btaining degrees in Digital Media and Information Studies and History of A
 rt [MA (hons)] and an MSc in Information Management\, Digital Preservation
  and Archives.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nCLIP (Crew L
 ist Index Project) presented by Pete &amp\; Jan Owens\n\n \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&
 nbsp\;\n\nPete and Jan Owens have run the Crew List Index Project (CLIP) f
 or the last 25 years\, aiming to improve access to the records of seafarer
 s of the late 19th and early 20th century.&nbsp\; We provide online inform
 ation\, data drawn from crew lists\, and resources relating to British reg
 istered ships.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nRegis
